Coagulation

The unique PT/aPTT Combo cartridge provides results immediately—when you need them the most.

  • Performs aPTT and PT, compared to just the ACT test on other analyzers, using citrated blood.
  • Tests abnormalities in intrinsic, extrinsic and common pathways.
  • Test time on normal sample is only 6-7 min.
  • Uses only one test cartridge, compared to other systems using 2 cartridges, to reduce “hands on time”.
  • Enables you to include COAG testing in your pre-op screening due to ease and speed of test.
  • Designed and validated for veterinary use on canine and feline patients.
  • Uses gold standard end point fibrin clot detection.

Equine Fibrinogen

The Equine Fibrinogen cartridge allows you to measure fibrinogen quantitatively with high precision directly during a visit to a equine patient or immediately when you return home to your clinic. This provides for an opportunity for faster treatment of the animal and a good dialogue with the owner on how an infection is developing and if the patient is responding to treatment.

  • Performs a double quantitative fibrinogen determination with high precision.
  • Determine increase in fibrinogen concentration to asses inflammation, often before clinical evidence of the disease.
  • Extreme dynamic range from below 1 g/L to 20 g/L eliminates re-testing due to out of range and allows for testing of foals with high fibrinogen levels.
  • Decrease in fibrinogen concentration may indicate potential bleeding and/or liver problem.
  • Test time on normal sample is less than 15 minutes.
  • Designed and validated for veterinary use on equine patients.
  • Uses gold standard turbidity (Ellis-Stransky) measurement

Canine Fibrinogen

The Canine Fibrinogen cartridge allows you to measure fibrinogen quantitatively with high precision in your clinic. This provides for an opportunity for better diagnosis and immediate treatment of the patient and a good dialogue with the owner.

  • Performs a double quantitative fibrinogen determination with high precision.
  • Elevated levels of fibrinogen above the normal range of 1.2 – 3.0 g/L indicate a degree of systemic inflammatory response. Increase in fibrinogen concentration is related to the magnitude of inflammation and often occurs before clinical evidence of disease.
  • Low level of fibrinogen below 1.2 g/L may indicate disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), potential bleeding or liver problems.
  • Extreme dynamic range from below 1 g/L to 20 g/L eliminates re-testing due to out of range and allows for testing of foals with high fibrinogen levels.
  • Test time on normal sample is less than 12 minutes.
  • Designed and validated for veterinary use on canine patients.
  • Uses gold standard turbidity (Ellis-Stransky) measurement

Canine Blood Typing

The Canine DEA 1.1 blood typing cartridge allows you to type dogs with high precision directly in your clinic using only 100 micro liter of blood and in 5 min.

  • Unambiguous answer, so no more problems with looking at faint lines or weak agglutination on a card.
  • Diagnostic protocol for blood transfusion available on screen with suggested actions.
  • Ability to print blood typing certificate for the customer including clinic and owner information.
  • Uses the tested and tried RapidVet-H monoclonal from DMS who is a pioneer in this field and has been working with canine blood typing for more than 15 years.

Feline Blood Typing

The Feline Blood Typing cartridge allows you to quickly determine if a feline patient has A and/or B blood group with high precision directly in your clinic using only 100 micro liter of blood and in 5 min.

  • No more need for evaluating agglutinates on a card or judging a red in red line on a strip, just read the result on the screen.
  •  Testing is highly automated and result interpretation is done by advanced algorithms ensuring that the user always gets an unambiguous answer.
  • Diagnostic protocol for blood transfusion available on screen with suggested actions.
  • Ability to print blood typing certificate for the customer including clinic and owner information.
